It has been out for a while (), but so have its subjects (tens of thousands of years), and this stunning book deserves a mention. The Ancient Southwest covers art, artifacts, and structures from the core Southwest modern Arizona and New Mexico, eastern Utah and southwestern Colorado/5(24). The content of the book is great. It is one of the best cultural studies of the ancient American Southwest. Plog clearly has first hand archaeological knowledge of these cultures. The condition of the book was okay.
